Vanessa - Founder & President
A native Floridian and lifelong animal lover, Vanessa discovered her passion for animal rescue after seeing a handicapped dog in need. She began fostering for the Florida rescue and only a week after getting her first foster, she saved her second foster and he never left. Now living in Georgia, Vanessa has not stopped working relentlessly being the voice for animals in need. In her spare time, Vanessa can be found enjoying time with her family and trying to find out the answer to “how many dogs is too many?”
Christina - Lead Volunteer
Christina is a dedicated animal advocate and rescuer, driven by a deep passion for saving the lives of urgent dogs and cats facing euthanasia. A proud guardian of four German Shepherds, she turned a challenging chapter in her life into a mission of compassion. Through her unwavering commitment, she continues to be a strong voice for the voiceless, working tirelessly to give animals a second chance at life.
Kim - Administrative Support
Kim works behind the scenes to help keep Boop running! In her free time, she also enjoys hiking with her husband and two dogs, Lincoln and Boop alumni Lily.
Rollo - Rescue Ambassador
Meet Rollo - one of our most pawsome rescue alumni! His story began in Florida where, Vanessa, new to fostering, swooped in to save then-five-month-old Rollo from euthanasia due to space. It was love at first sight, and they’ve been besties ever since. With his winning personality and chill vibes, Rollo quickly earned the title of foster brother extraordinaire, rescue ambassador, dog tester, and all-around goodest boy. He’s been stealing hearts and wagging tails wherever he goes! Be sure to say 'hi!' if you see him out!
